Living Provenance of a Contemporary Relic
Conceptual Art & Documentation by Sebastian Blume
Light and Relic documents three layers

THE BIRTH OF THE FINE ART PRINT IMAGE
This is the crucible where the transformation took place. In the presence of the fire, the Arknight Shard was reborn in its new identity. This specific moment constitutes the Fine Art Print 1/3
the physical manifestation of the project and the anchor of its Living Provenance.
Light and Relic is a conceptual art project founded and created by Conceptual Artist Sebastian Blume. It unites photography, provenance, and historic atmosphere within the forge of blacksmith artist Andreas Rimkus.
In a place where heat and will shape the impossible, this artifact was not merely captured it was conjured.

On this day, light, ash, and memory gathered in the forge of Andreas Rimkus – artist, blacksmith, guardian of ancient craft. Here, where iron dances and fire whispers, the visual embodiment of the Arknight Shard took form.
This image was not made with light it was made with life.
Andreas Rimkus taught me that fire is a being. That it must be fed. And that, if you are attentive, it will answer.
I photographed the Relic but it was the fire that drew it.
